My story
Alessia grew up playing competitive sports, including junior hockey in Oakville, Ontario. A history of nagging injuries sparked an early interest in rehabilitative and preventive sciences, leading her to pursue a Bachelor of Arts with an Honours Specialization in Kinesiology at Western University.
Following four years at Western, Alessia completed a four-year Master's program at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, where she developed a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and classical osteopathic principles.
A personal health challenge gave her firsthand experience of what hands-on osteopathic care can accomplish. That experience deepened her commitment to this work and her belief in care that prioritizes prevention, rehabilitation, and the body's natural ability to heal.
Care should restore balance and movement, not just quiet a symptom.
Alessia builds individualized treatment plans for every patient, with the goal of helping people feel and move better over the long term. Curious what that actually looks like? See what to expect from your first visit.
